    Wow! Can you believe the module has ended and we are heading into a three week module!

    The classes I had  were:

    Injections:  This is such a fun class, I love the hands on skills that we are taught and get to practice. We have been giving injections, working on sterile pack, sterile gloves and also how to operate the autoclave. So much fun!!!!

    I stopped by today to see the volunteer hours are racking up. Way to go Evening Stars! We can all work together and really add up those volunteer hours. Just think if every evening student were to donate 2 hours each we would have 500 hours racked up in no time, so lets each of us do at  least one volunteer project to show that the Evening students are off the charts with volunteer work!

    This is the EKG Class, in this class you learn how to do EKG, Ultrasounds, Throat Culture, Foot Exams, Glocose Testing, Hematocrit and Hemoglobin. We also did a Heart Project which was very interseting, you learn things you never knew. It was fun! This class is 2 modules, We also did full vitals and snellens.     Empire students are IRS certified to provide free income tax services through Co

    Advanced accounting students at Empire College are honing their skills by assisting Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County in delivering free income tax clinics to low-income residents. In order to participate in this unique, hands-on opportunity, each student became IRS certified in tax preparation.
