Neighbors in Health 2009...Empire Volunteers - You Made a Difference!

Your volunteer spirit, generosity, expertise, and compassion made the Fourth Annual Neighbors in Health a success for nearly 400 uninsured children.

These children participated in healthy living activities and received medical care at the Kaiser Permanente Stein Medical campus. Many received dental screenings, immunizations, and vision assessments.

Empire College provided more than 100 volunteers including day and evening medical students, faculty, staff, and graduates working in various capacities to make this event a success. From providing food out of the Food Bank truck, greeting and guiding families, to rooming patients and drawing blood, your efforts made a difference.
