    IMA and ELSA student groups collected 806 lbs. of food for Food Bank.

    Two Empire student groups (IMA-accounting and ELSA-paralegal) exemplified the true meaning of the holidays by coordinating a food drive for the Redwood Empire Food Bank on campus. Although a competition between the two groups, the real winners were the families who had food for the holidays.

Empire's team was led by Susanne Richards, Empire's Director of Accounting and Human Resources who has a most personal connection with the disease that affects millions of children and adults.     On Friday, October 2, the Empire Legal Student Association (ELSA) will hold a dinner and social hour on campus from 4 to 9 p.m. with BINGO starting at 5 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Family Support Center, a homeless shelter in downtown Santa Rosa for children and their parents which serves 134 people each day.     Your volunteer spirit, generosity, expertise, and compassion made the Fourth Annual Neighbors in Health a success for nearly 400 uninsured children.

    These children participated in healthy living activities and received medical care at the Kaiser Permanente Stein Medical campus. Many received dental screenings, immunizations, and vision assessments.
